CONSEIL NATIONAL DE CONCERTATION EN NUTRITION

 

According to Decree No. 2008-003/PRES/PM/MS/MAHRH/MASSN/MEF, the National Nutrition Consultation Council (CNCN) is
 a framework for consultation and decision support in matters of nutrition. It is an advisory body that issues opinions
 and recommendations on national nutrition policy.
CNCN MISSIONS
  • promote consultation between the various nutrition stakeholders and partners in the field of health, 
    food security and food safety;
  • promote the participation of technical and financial partners, NGOs and associations in the 
    implementation of priority nutrition actions;
    
  • advise on any matter relating to nutrition referred to it;
  • propose all measures likely to improve the nutritional situation of the population, in particular the 
    mother-child couple;
    
  • carry out advocacy activities to energize, federate actions and mobilize resources for the 
    implementation of nutrition projects and programs.
